Vintage Franklin 405 air cooled engine. Came from Franklin engines in Hewitt,TX.

I was told that the engine may be used in fixed wing applications as well tucker automobile. Helicopter engine from what I understand. Its pretty dang cool and I cant keep everything find. Is around 400lbs.

I will strap down and load it. This engine sales as is where and was a barn find.

The round part on bottom is fan that cools engine. Not sure if it will even turn over. Cant be many of these laying around. Its sitting on a wood en pallet.
