This engine was anther Stearman operated by the late Karl. The engine was then inspected carefully, including pulling two cylinders to take a look inside. Stultifies, OK K Aircraft and Dynamic Aviation in Bridge water, VA. The major overhaul was done by Holland Aircraft of Tyler, TX in 1991 and installed on the Stearman in 1995.

The engine was operated with an oil filter. See copies from the logbook and overhaul record for details of overhaul including 24573 thrust bearing. This gem, Sn 27350, has only 993.7 hours total time since new and128.7 major overhaul. The W-670-6N haste A5891 crankshaft with seventh order torsional vibration damper for smoother running.
