Less than time rites as always this is an original pratt whitney mfg'd item. This special indicator can be used on all pratt whitney series engines. Small in size and very handy to have for in field operations.

Insert the ball end through the spark plug bushing, and screw the knurled indicator adapter firmly into the bushing. As the piston rises in cylinder against the ball, the pointer is moved. The ball end is adjustable for different engines by loosening the slotted nut with key provided, and sliding the ball end to position desired.

A really good tool to have in your stow away kit on board aircraft. The normal position of the pointer is at top of the Gage.
