My mechanic suggested that I keep them for spares. Buyer needs to determine whether these are repairable or usable.
I own the airplane and decided to have all 6 Cylinders replaced with new Cylinders for that popular top overhaul repair. I am offering 4 different Cylinders that had have the exact compression listed on the id card in the photo. I am including the associated piston w rings that goes with the Cylinder.
I am keeping the 2 Cylinders that had high compression's and because they could be put back on quickly if needed. This Cylinder had on the compression test see photo tags from Continental io 520 l 3a removed Cylinders hp rpm Cylinders were removed from A/C 210l engine serial because of low compression.
I have a 100 approval rating on. I have no idea what the value is so I have started low and have no reserve on the Cylinders. They are not tagged by any FAA approved source.
Buyer is to determine item is to be rebuild able and airworthy to comply with all applicable far when installing Patton aircraft.
That was not offered when I got the 6 new Cylinders this time. All markings, serial numbers, sand casting numbers, etc.
Are in focus for your benefit to understand what you are getting. I will let the excellent photography of the Cylinder help you judge the value.
