For sale is a Lycoming a1d5 engine, serial no. L, 250hp that was removed from a 1959 Piper comanche pa24 250. To the lower 48 states.

This engine did suffer a low power prop strike when there was an electrical outage and the pilot could not put down the landing gears before landing on the runway causing a prop strike. This sale includes all accessories carburetor, inter av alternator STX, sky etc starter, magnetos , flywheel, oil cooler, oil air separator STX, baffling, Macaulay prop governor and exhaust system. Logbooks are included with the sale. The crank was dialed and it shows no sign of it being bent.

The tip of the exhaust did receive minor damage. This engine was overall well maintained with all annual inspections and oil changes.

3 hours smog. There was no damage to the engine or any of the accessories.
